About us
The Players have been presenting high-quality amateur theatre in Bristol’s Westbury Park area since 1973.
The 2009/2010 season has been another good one for the Players.
Our autumn production of “The Snow Queen” was a hit with audiences and probably one of the most visually stunning shows we’ve presented. It proved a favourite with young and old alike.
In the One Acts our strong form continued with “In By The Half” that played well at our hall and the Bristol One Act Festival – congratulations to Barbara Crass and Hannah Burt for their acting awards at the festival.
Springtime brought Alan Ayckbourn centre stage with an excellent production of “Absent Friends” – acclaimed by audiences and Rose Bowl adjudicator alike.
We hope you’ll get involved with our club. We’re always keen to hear from people interested acting or in all the back stage or front of house roles necessary for putting on a play.
